Bronnie Ware’s book, Dog-Patient in BedThe Top Five Regrets Of The Dying, caught my attention.   As a palliative care nurse she said that in their last days patients receive phenomenal clarity of vision about their lives.  She asked her patients what their greatest regrets were and distilled the top five from all of her conversations.  Live your life with no regrets!

7 Characteristics of Happy People

Through my Law of Attraction coaching, I’ve distilled a list of characteristics that happy people seem to exhibit. This not a scientific study but just my observations.

Rule #1. Listen to your Inner Voice. You have an eternal source of knowledge that will never steer you wrong.  It always knows what is best for you. The trick is to sit still long enough to hear it. Philosopher Blaise Pascal said, “All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.”

Turn Impossible Into I’m Possible

If you really believe in what you are doing, never give up.  Stay focused.  Don’t take anything personally.  And never face the facts they will just discourage you.

The story of Rocky Balboa in the hit movie Rocky reminds me of that.  In many ways Sylvester Stallone’s early life mirrored Rocky’s.  Stallone was broke and without a job.  There was no heat in his apartment.  He was so broke that he sold his beloved dog to a friend for $25.  One morning while sitting in the library to stay warm, he got the inspiration to write the script.  When he tried to sell it, it was rejected over 100 times by Hollywood agents and executives.  But he didn’t quit.
